Aiming to demystify joke creation

Nursing / medicine, the heart
Yes, we're still on the subject of nursing / medicine (we've chosen nursing as Cath's job) and we're now looking into the human heart to try and get some gags.
The Oracle of the heart
To maximise my options, I want to know what the auricle of the heart is and what it does. Well, I've looked it up and found that it's attached to the heart's left and right atriums, and its job is to increase their capacity.
I'm going to rejig these ideas and introduce the terminology (the audience might not have heard of the auricle), leading to this::
I think the following straightforward line is worth using, as it is complimentary of the Bride without being too cheesy.
The Bride resembles the wise-sounding part of the heart called 'the oracle of the heart': She has always shown wisdom in the things of romance.
Not hilariously funny, but useful because it is short and speaks very favorably of the Bride.
Different speakers: who is 'the oracle?'
That's all for the moment, folks. I'm going to have a cup of tea and take to my bed.
Enjoy your gag-making!
