Hi folks! I'm sorry I haven't posted for a fair while. I'll pull my socks up, renew my efforts and put my elbow to the grindstone.
This post is intended to direct you to my other blog, 'Half-Life of the YoYo Man', hosted at www.marcprospero.com (click the 2nd tab, '1/2 LIFE'.)
The blog is about my experiences during a serious 7-year long mental illness which started when I was 26 years old. This sounds desperately non-funny but there are two sorts of humour in it, which you might enjoy, namely:
1. The sections where I am well, when all sorts of genuinely funny things happen. I have to say they still do. It's about recognising comedy in real life. I'm 60 now but I pass for 50 or younger. To me this is because I sow the seeds of laughter wherever I go, and I laugh a lot myself... and at myself.
2. The sections where I am deluded. I present these as a stream of consciousness so you can see exactly the bizarre thought processes of a sufferer of mania. Readers so far are finding that these parts veer from the utterly traumatic to darkly, hysterically funny.
I hope you enjoy the blog.
If you wish to be notified when I update the blog, please email me on thiscreativeworld@gmail.com and we'll try to become facebook friends. I put out a Facebook post whenever I do an update.
